The bible contains knowledge, wisdom, the mind of God,
the state of man, the way of slavation, the doom of the
sinners and the happiness of believers. Its doctrine are
holy; its precepts are binding; its histories are true and
its decisions are immutable. It contains light to guide you,
food to support you and comfort to cheer you. God was 2500
years getting ready to write the Bible; 1600 years writing it;
and has beev 1900 years fulfilling it. The boy occurs in the
Bible three times and the girl two times. Christ is the
key to the entire Book. Forty men were employed in its making,
was written by doctors, farmers, fishers, kings, shephers, old
young, rich, poor, learned and unlearned. It is a traveller's map,
the pilgrim's staff, the pilot's compass and the soldier's sword.
Do not neglect your Bible. It is a mine of wealth and
health to the soul and a river of pleasure. It is given
to you to this life and will be opened to you at the
judgement and it is established forever. If you want
a crown of rejoicing when Jesus returns to earth again,
read your Bible and lead lost souls to Christ and
you will have a rich reward when He comes.
II Tim 2:15 is the key that will
unlock the sacred Book to you.

James 1:12
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life......

These words were spoken by Job when he was is sore frustration and distress, when he was strived with sores in his whole body, simply when he couldn't bear no more.

There is a lesson from this verse and in the life of Job that we all can learn, in this world full of fear and danger.. killing and pain, tears and sorrow every corner we turn, every channel we watch. When we come to a state where we can't bear it no more, even in our everyday chores; we should go seeking after God. Whom the psalmist sang - Is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Pslams 46:1).

So without giving up in frustration when everything around us goes wrong; discouraged when the people you love turn their backs on you, and filling up inside with anger when we are falsely accused, let us look at Jesus and his humble death on the cross. Let's go through the trials set before us, and run this race with looking at the reward (crown of life) kept for us.

For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. (Isaiah 54:7)

Good morning to all....I am just cleaning out my inbox and my first email is the section 234 of the bible...any other subscriber to these scriptures can relate,,,and I felt His Presence pulling at my attention but I was sorely distracted while I was reading....mentally, that is...so I just scrolled to the end of the scripture and the last verse: 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new
covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 31:32
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the
day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of
Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto
them, saith the LORD: 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will
make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I
will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts;
and will be their God, and they shall be my people., really stood out to me for I had to reflect briefly on His promise with me and the place where I am now in my life. Then I saw the link to discuss this scripture and I clicked it. Again I began to speedread by scrolling down the page and then, bam, in bold letters, James 1:12
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life......jumped out at me.....the distraction was a temptation and I thank Him for answering my prayers for Him to keep my mind on Him...Have a blessed day on this journey
