With the news that GRRM's epic 'A Song of Ice and Fire' is going to be turned into the next major HBO miniseries (http://www.georgerrmartin.com/news.html) several questions come up.
Both 'Deadwood' and 'Rome' were/are both cancelled before they completed their story arc based on being "too expensive" according to HBO. If such is the case, how will Martin's series (which virtually defines the word "epic") fare? And given the cliffhangers the first book (heck, ALL the books) end on, how committed does HBO need to be? |
