favorite sci-fi authors
Those are great authors that you've mentioned. What about CJ Cherryh? (sp?), Or Piers Anthony? I like Robert and Lynn Asprin. I like the Myth-ing novels.

Sunday Wife
A genre read situated in Florida about a methodist preacher's wife. She has been married 20 years to the pastor, and was following a dull routine---might I say , "his" routine until she met a free spirit named Augusta .After that Willodean's life changed completely---she began to have different priorities, and it started with her music. She played the dulcimer more for pleasure and a little less for church socials. She met different people, other than staid Methodists. How this plays out makes for a great read. Any comments?

Herman Hesse
thank you for the information, I have only read Boddhisatva, I think is the name it is a book he wrote about the life of Buddha. There are other great Existential writers: Kafka, Camus, Sartre. Their writing is also quite interesting, my favorite is Camus. Some of his novels are: The stranger, the Plague(about the bubonic plague in a town in his native Algeria), etc. He also wrote many short stories.

Dracula, by Bram Stoker
hello
there is a section in bookrags.com about this author, at the moment I am reading another of his great works, but the less famous, Lady of the Shroud, has to do with ghosts and a haunted house that its inherited by a group of people, the house is in England, the new owners one of them is American, there are nine other people, and they all must meet at the house to have the will read. hope you enjoy Dracula, you might want to check out the original with Christopher Lee and compare the two, it is a classic chord0

vs. Da Vinci Code?
Hi, arcamaxbooks,
thanks for the reply, and nice to meet u thru this website, to tell u the truth, I've attempted to read DVC several times but the boredom of the book got to me, however
since u've replied I will attempt it one more time. I enjoyed The Last Templar b/c it got my attention from start, and it delved into the history of the templars, a subject I'd
been researching, along with the freemasons, and I also read the author's interview about his book, I enjoyed his explanation of the book, and how he came across
to me as a reader, The Last Templar also made me think as to what I would do if I held in my hand secrets about some great organization in the world, especially one
that has both pros and cons as to its place in our world. I will finish DVC and give u my answer as soon as I finish it, if I don't fall asleep again. Thanks, sacajawea
