A short story in his collection 'Stories of Your Life," it's about a group of masons who travel to the biblical tower to assist in its construction. The conceit here is that the tower does get built and does, indeed, reach all the way to heaven. I found it to be utterly fascinating and fresh with a unique twist ending I did not really expect. Highly recommended.
