Eregon
Feb 7 2007, 7:40 AM EST
My brother gave me the two books as a gift because I have a thing about dragons and wizards and such. I also felt that it wasn't a 'deep' read but I don't think it was meant to be.
I found it to be a story that kept moving and growing. A series where the next book will be anticipated for its forward movement and character development. I have not read Eldest yet but I liked hearing that it is better. It will be one of my next reads. Lots of possibility. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I too received Eragon and Eldest for Christmas. I have not yet started to read them but those I know who have read this book has told me that they are good books to read. Maybe I should read them to the kids at bedtime like a chapter book so they can look forward to what happens next. For those of you who have already read these books, what do you think of this book as bedtime reading?
